Francisco Bay Inn

Many guests comment the rooms and hotel are clean and well maintained; a small number of reports (including a found cockroach) slightly reduce the overall cleanliness score.

Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, though a few mentions note a grumpy or less friendly receptionist on occasion.

Consistently praised for proximity to Fisherman's Wharf, good bus connections and nearby amenities; however, the location next to a busy road/Lombard Street generates repeated noise complaints.

Rooms are often described as spacious, modernized and comfortable (beds, fridge, TV); some guests note thin walls, noisy windows and occasional uncomfortable pillows.

In-room amenities like fridge/microwave, parking and complimentary coffee at reception are appreciated; limited food options (no breakfast for some bookings) and occasional unstable internet lower the score slightly.

Several reviewers explicitly praise the hotel as good value, but issues such as street noise, lack of breakfast and isolated negative incidents temper the perceived value for some guests.
